Nori was rescued by camo rescue when she was found on the streets with her ears cut off. She has had surgery for her ears that were badly infected, she is also heartworm positive but will be treated by the rescue. She can be adopted locally if the adopter could get her to her to heartworm treatment appointments in Sugarland. Nori is about three-four years old and weighs 12 lbs. she is

fully vetted spayed and microchipped.

Nori is a female shitzu with a larger than life personality. She loves to be with people and in motion. She is quite adaptable and approaches life with curiosity tempered with caution. She has learned about the vacuum cleaner, coffee grinder and other household sounds with her foster family. Although she may initially be frightened by new sounds, she adapts and gets on with her play.
She enjoys walks and playing with other dogs. She also is good at keeping herself entertained with toys, tossing them about, while entertaining the people around her.

Nori is potty-trained but needs to be reminded to take a break and slip outside to do her business. She does well with a routine. She will let her foster family know she needs out, to do her business,by barking, scurrying around or jumping up-n-down at the very last minute.

Nori is comfortable in a crate. This is a good thing because she

is Heartworm+ and has started the first step of her treatment. The next two steps will require her to rest in her crate with limited activity. She does like sitting with her fosters on a comfy chair or lap so this will be helpful to her during treatment.

About the only thing Nori does not like to do is sit still in a car. She enjoys going places but travels best in a crate.

Nori is a real cutie with a bubbly personality. Her zest for life and antics can cause you to laugh and smile. Nori reminds those

who meet her, Life is Good.

She would be best in an active home with another active dog where she can be the 'alpha' dog.
